Dawlish and Teignmouth camera club went traveling on Wednesday evening. Organised by Nigel West, five members showed pictures of their 'favourite places'.
First was Bob Clowes giving us a guided tour and commentary on Madeira, the geography, places of interest and history including some beautiful photographs of the lovely island.
In contrast Denise Searle shared her love of mountains, snowdonia, the lake district and the Pyrenees, with pictures taken in various weather conditions, showing that walking can be enjoyed at any time.
Ernie King favoured the Lizard peninsular, a location enjoyed over many years by himself and his wife Jean, the coast path, lighthouse and some of the stunning coastal village and harbours.
Iceland was the choice of Peter Sillifant, a place of lunar landscapes, fjords, spectacular waterfalls, geysers and hot springs.
Last on the agenda was John Lynn with his beautiful pictures showcasing the highlights of the lake district, his images showing the lakes and mountains at their very best.
