Eddie's a Winner

Eddie Crawford with Ernie King
Once a year the Western Counties Photographic Federation holds a competition with a specific theme for the winner to obtain The Knightshayes Trophy. This is awarded to the best print on a particular theme which this year was to depict “missing”. All 164 entries from the clubs in the Federation were displayed in the village hall at Clyst St. Mary. Dawlish & Teignmouth Camera Club entered this event. We did not get a first or a second placing but our member Eddie Crawford gained third place and with much acclaim, was duly presented with his certificate by member Ernie King who had received it in his place. This was an extremely good effort for Eddie when you consider how many prints he was up against. The title of his print was “Who’s left their fish and chips” and showed a picture of a cafe with empty plates. The subject for next year is “co-operation”.
