Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera Club held its annual competition to find the best pictures from all its competitions over the last year.

Experienced judge, Gordon Aspland, from Newton Abbot Camera Club, had his work cut out choosing the top images from the three classes of mono prints, colour prints and digital, projected photos.

In the Open Colour Prints section, Highly Commended awards were given to David Renhard, and Ken Bradley (for two of his prints). 3rd place was awarded to Edward Chorlton, 2nd to Denise Searle and 1st was Terry Boulton.

In the Mono Prints section, Paul Lawson, Bob Clowes (twice) were given Highly Commended awards. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places were given to Ken Holland, Colin Carter and Terry Boulton.

The Digital Projected Image category saw Rosemary Bradley, Shirley Boulton and Jane Thomson gain Highly Commended awards, while David Renhard gained a 3rd place, Ken Holland a 2nd and Edward Chorlton a 1st.

Chairman, Byron Carnell, thanked all club members for submitting their pictures and asked Ken Holland to express a vote of thanks. Ken said, "Gordon Aspland has judged our pictures fairly and squarely and has given thoughtful, positive and constructive feedback on each and every image."
