Dawlish and Teignmouth camera club held yet another succesful exhibition at the TAAG centre in teignmouth. For one week,around 100 prints were on display depicticting a wide range of subjects including a collection of local images as well as a continuous showing of pictures on a screen.
On wednesday evening there was a chance for club members and invited guests to view the pictures and indulge in a glass of wine and snacks.
Visiting guests Anthony Ballinger, chairman of teignbridge district council and Jacqui Orme, deputy mayor of teignmouth each gave a short speech expressing their interest and appreciation of the work put into the exhibition.
Also present was Maggie Harris from the Alice Cross community centre which provides opportunities and activities for the over 50s. The camera club has worked alonside Alice Cross, providing twelve stunning images of Teignmouth which have been made into a calender to be sold in aid of the centre.
The many members of the public who paid a visit expressed delight and admiration at the way the images were exhibited.
