There were fewer members at this weeks meeting of Dawlish and Teignmouth Camera club, due to some attending an inter club competition at Exmouth. This did not stop the remainder from having a thoroughly good evening.
To begin, Leslie Cooper, Pauline Thomson and Bob Kethro showed some of their recent winning images inviting their audience to comment.
This was followed by a wonderful presentation from a new member, Naomi Stolow, stunning pictures of wildlife in the UK and Africa, many taken very early in the morning to capture some beautiful light.Pictures of deer, puffins, foxes and owls were followed by amazing close up shots of leopards, lions, elephants as well as portraits of Masai people.
Naomi is a superb photographer having pictures accepted by the Royal Geographic magazine, as well as winning wildlife competitions .
The evening closed with Leslie Cooper showing a CD of members work from her previous club, Barnet and Finchly in London, a huge selection of pictures on many different subjects
Colin Carter thanked all those who contibuted to a very enjoyable evening
